Expose your brain to nature

I suppose that we’re preaching to the converted here when we talk about how getting out of the house and into nature is such an important component of a healthy life. Your mother probably nagged you endlessly when you were a yoof and now you likely do the same with your offspring. But what about yourself? Do you practice what you preach?

By now, we all know the benefits of getting outdoors. It improves your mood, reduces feelings of stress or anger, helps you take time out and feel more relaxed. It improves your physical health, your confidence and self-esteem. It assists you to be more active. And, as an extra benefit, helps you meet and get to know new people and connects you to your local community.
