Google Fi courting travelers by selling SIM cards in airport vending machines

One of the most ubiquitous and frustrating experiences of travel is bad connectivity. In this day and age, it’s a crime to not be able to have access to good Wi-Fi or cheap options for cellular service no matter where you go, unless of course it’s a destination where that is not a feature.  Planning helps! And so does good equipment.

This article describes how Google is finding ways to simplify this and improve the overall experience.

Google Fi is a good deal for international travelers at $10 per GB in over 200 countries and territories. The MVNO is now directly targeting those potential customers by selling SIM cards at international airport terminals in the U.S.
