Read the fine print

Travel can be a complex undertaking, even in the best of times. There are so many moving parts to most itineraries, and it doesn’t help when one (or more) of the pieces falls out of place.

Here is one story – courtesy of Gary Leff’s “View from the Wing” site. (We’ve featured him often, as he is a wizard at getting good deals, especially on credit cards.) But this tale is not only slightly mind-boggling for anyone with a conscience, but it is also a warning to read the T&Cs of your contracts – in this case – AirBNB. Read further into Gary’s article and the AirBNB user explains a potentially hair-raising “technicality” of the AirBNB host that could have become a disaster in the right (wrong) circumstances.
