Serbia welcomes Cubans

Poor Cuba. Still battered by the USA (for reasons that we just can’t understand) this beautiful and engaging country teeters on collapse, except for the strength of its people. We have a number of posts here on the site (click here) which should give any thinking person the desire to hop on a plane and explore this inviting place.

So, it is even more fitting to applaud Serbia for offering visas for Cubans (an attempt to align its visa policy with EU) to visit. Serbia has had its own ups and downs over the decades, but is another one of those countries that you should see. Some of its past still lingers, but it is also as modern and up-to-date as any other European countries – we’ve been there – (Serbia, officially the Republic of Serbia, a landlocked country in Southeastern and Central Europe, situated at the crossroads of the Pannonian Basin and the Balkans.)

History is everywhere in Serbia.

Since April 15, 2023, Cuban passport holders will now need to apply for a visa to enter the territory of Serbia for tourism and business purposes. That’s good news. As Ringo Starr says, “peace and love, peace and love.” Read more here courtesy of schengenvisainfo.com
